I have been producing music for more than 10 years providing an extensive approach to your songs, including professional deep MIDI drum humanizing or live drums triggering, guitar reamping and all you need. I am interested in a good result, so I am ready for as many revisions as needed and usually give 15 business days from first pass.
Be sure to send me 2-3 reference tracks. This is important for understanding your views on the sound of your music.
We have a large set of guitar amps and experience in getting the sound of most of your favorite metal bands.
You can also get high-quality humanization of your MIDI-drums, including live replay with MIDI recording. This will allow you to save all the details of a live performance, groove, natural velocity and use it with the best samples.

When I first discovered Soundbetter, I was hoping to find someone to work with that would help get my music or vision of it to the next level, and Theodor did just that. I appreciated his communication, patience, and feedback during my first experience ever working with a producer/mixer. I look forward to completing my first album with him.

Great experience! Theodor got my vision without needing to explain it in great detail. He went the extra mile in order for the end result to be as good as possible. Revisions were done quickly and smoothly. Highly recommended!

Great mix, and great mastering, the perfect guy for all kinds of heavy metal mixes. This one was perfect out of the box and only needed a few minor edits. 10/10, will hire again.

still working on album, really dialed in the sound, and making the most out of my tracks

Continue to work with Theodor on the album, even after I had to take a break for a while, he remembered all my preferences and notes from before and is dialing me in basically perfect on first mix.

Awesome as always \m/
Theodor had a bit less time on this but still knocked it out of the part. Great balanced and perfected it from my notes until the band was happy.

Working with Theodor was just lovely! He almost nailed the sound I was going for right off the bat. He responded and worked quickly, and always kept his cool, even when I got picky with minor details. He also got me into Limp Bizkit, which I'm not sure if it's a blessing or a curse...
Always a pleasure Theodor!
Interview with Theodor Borovski
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I think that this is primarily European metal of the mid-noughties. It was a very important time for all kinds of metal. I was most inspired by the works of Jacob Hansen, Daniel Bergstrand, Finnvox Studios, Andy Sneap and Peter Tägtgren. Perhaps they can be called inspirers and teachers. This is the sound that we all love and know.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: As a child, I was a fan of the German band Accept. And I was very happy to produce one of the projects where the former vocalist of the band David Reece performed lead vocals.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I was very pleased to collaborate with Mark Kramer, who did the mastering for my mix and expressed gratitude for the good work. It is a great honor for me to receive a high rating from such an experienced and famous producer.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Of course, I choose "in-the-box" when it comes to editing and mixing music. But many analog devices still do not have decent digital counterparts at the stage of creating sound.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The most pleasant thing is to hear the final result and see the success of the album after its release
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Over 10 years working with metal and rock music. It all started with an official cover versions contest of the Swedish band PAIN, for which I recorded and mixed one of the songs by myself. It was very nice to win this competition and get praise from Peter Tagtgren and his band. At that moment, I realized that my job had to be more than just mixing local bands.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Pop-Rock, all types of Metal, OST, Punk, Electronic
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: One of my strengths is the ability to create exactly the type of sound that the client needs. I have studied many approaches and techniques for mixing classical and modern metal, and I know exactly how to get the right sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The first important thing is to make my clients give me as much information about their expectations and influences. I spend enough time analysing reference tracks. Next I'm looking for the most suitable reamp solution and the best drum samples. And after that, I can fully engage in editing, mixing, and mastering
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording, Reamping, Mixing and Mastering. Programming realistic drums with live MIDI-recording by professional drummer.
