Interview with Ellen Louise
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It's important to get as much information from the client as possible before I undergo any work. This could be from song references, lyric sheets, guide vocals etc. Once I have finished the first draft, I will send to the client for approval. If changes are needed; I allow up to 2 extra revisions to make sure everything is perfect for the client! I can deliver the final product as raw stems (WAV).

A: I will always work hard on all jobs I receive. I will deliver high quality work.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love collaborating and being creative with different people. It is a great way to learn new things!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Storyteller, bright, soft
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work with genres such as pop, folk, soul, country, alternative and sometimes EDM/dance
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: With 15+ years of vocal training, I bring great vocal technique combined with storytelling and an emotional connection to the lyrics. This is delivered with a soft, pop/folk vocal.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a MacBook Air, Logic Pro X software, Focusrite 2i2 audio interface and a Rode NT2a Mic.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually get asked to record lead Vocals as well as Backing Vocals/Adlibs. I also offer a songwriting service where I write lyrics, melody and sometimes music on my acoustic guitar.
