Rebecca Turner on SoundBetter

I'm Rebecca, a songwriter, singer and keyboard player from London. I perform regularly in the UK and have been writing my own material for over 10 years now. I have written for some notable musicians and have also completed an album of original material recently with Wendell Richardson from Afrobeat band, Osibisa, called Global Soundbite.

I am a creative, extremely musical person, who loves to write melody and lyrics. I am also able to use Logic so that I can record and produce material.

I have always written, but more seriously within the last 10 years, as I've had very good reaction to my songs. I have written stuff for TV and film and also created instrumental tracks.

I'm classically trained in piano, but write in every style, including rock, country and r&b.

I'm easy to get along with, and really listen to what is required of me from the person who hires me. I try to create or enhance a composition that reflects the elements of the person and their ideas, rather than put my own take on the track.
