My name is Otto Palmborg, I come from Finland and I work as a professional singer, songwriter, top liner and artist.
I have 12 years of experience in the music industry both inside and outside the studio
I started out writing for the Asian market with both J- and K-pop but later started solely focusing on writing mainstream Pop and all the EDM genres. I've dabbled in Rock, Funk, Soul, RnB and Indie too with great success and customer satisfaction. I am a very diverse singer thanks to my several years spent as a demo singer for all kinds of genres but my roots lie in the pop genre. Still, it's my lifelong side project to master singing and to learn all kinds of music genres that interest me.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Once we've started.. Please try to explain *exactly* what you want. Don't be shy, just grab a mic and sing your melody if you want! That really helps. A voice memo is way more effective than written words.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with anyone who I think fits my style!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Create CONSTANTLY! I cannot put into words how much I’ve grown by just having the mindset of finishing every single song that I start and just keep on moving forward. Perfect is the enemy of good!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Back in the day I used to write K-pop but now I'm mainly focused on EDM, Pop and all the various house genres. But, I love gospel and R&B and I have a really soulful side to my voice as well that I try to utilise every chance I get! I’ve also recently dabbled in the funk and rock genre
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My head is constantly swarming with ideas and “getting stuck” or having “writer’s block” is something that I haven’t experienced ever in the 5 years of doing this for a living.. And I think that's an important skill in this business. I also NEVER take feedback personally.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring emotion like absolutely no one else! Along with a very high energy, high pitched and unique vocal color that comes through brilliantly in a lot of different styles of songs! I also have a very big vocal range and I don’t really mind which key I work in..
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I will sing you a rough melody with usually just random words as placeholder lyrics and pretty low effort singing. After you’ve greenlit the melody I will create final lyrics for you to listen to and give me feedback on. Finally once everything practical with the song is agreed upon by the both of us, I will put my heart and soul into giving you the best vocals possible! This is always done with great care and I comp all the takes myself to ensure you get the very best effort I could’ve done for each vocal line!

A: Definitely Pop! But there's also so many different aspects due to my background and all the various people that inspired me.. So mix in some Soul, Gospel, R&B, Rock and Funk as well!
