GØDFRAME on SoundBetter

Billboard-charting producer w/credits on Hulu, NFL, MTV, ESPN & more. I build custom Pop, R&B, and Cinematic Hip Hop production around your voice and your vision. Whether it’s singles, sync, or a full project, I’m here to help you sound like your best self.

You’re talented. You’ve got something to say.
And you deserve more than a cookie-cutter beat or rushed mix. You deserve someone who sees your vision clearly and helps bring it to life with care, excellence, and soul.

That’s where I come in.

I’m Terrence, and I go by GØDFRAME— a Billboard-charting music producer with 10+ years of experience and placements on Hulu, MTV, ESPN, BET, and more. But titles don’t matter if the music doesn’t connect. I help artists craft songs that move hearts and stand out because they’re honest, well-made, and rooted in purpose.

[How We'll Work]
(1) Discovery: We’ll start with a conversation (written or verbal) so I can learn more about your vision and ideas.

(2) Production: Next, I’ll build a custom track around any initial demos or references, staying true to your end goals.

(3) Delivery: Once approved, I'll send mix-ready stems or a polished mix/master depending on your package.

[Additional Services]
🎯 Premium: Full Song Production
Need more than just a custom track? I can oversee everything—from creative direction to writing to vocal session coordination—backed by a trusted team of session musicians, writers, vocalists, and engineers.

What an amazing first experience working with Terrance. He is a total pro. Knows exactly what he's looking for in the song and communicates his vision perfectly. He also makes KILLER sounding music. Looking forward to the next one. Thank you, Terrance!

Interview with GØDFRAME

  1. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  2. A: Connecting with up and coming artists like you.

  3. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  4. A: 1.) What's your vision for this song/project (and eventually your career)? 2.) What's been standing in your way from getting this done so far? 3.) What's your ideal budget/timeline? 4.) What references/demos can you share with me?

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Have a clear vision of what you're looking for. I love working from song references, voice memo ideas, and just general story/vibe concepts. Also, I love hearing feedback that is clear, concise, and actionable (ex: "Change chord structure from major to minor at the 1:30 mark" vs. "This just isn't hitting me in my soul. Can you make it feel like a green strawberry?")

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: 1. iPhone 2. Macbook Pro 3. Midi Keyboard 4. Headphones 5. USB Mic

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: The short version? Music’s been part of my life since before I could talk. My mom loves to tell the story of toddler me banging out rhythms on my grandma’s pots and pans like a little kitchen drummer. From there, it just never stopped. I started classical piano lessons in elementary school, then taught myself drums and keys by ear at church. In sixth grade, I picked up the saxophone and stayed locked into music through marching band—eventually majoring in it in college. Production came into my life thanks to a random video game: MTV Music Generator for Playstation. It was basically a DAW disguised as a game, and I was instantly hooked. That curiosity turned into a passion as I leveled up through FL Studio, Magix Music Maker, and eventually Logic Pro (after a friend blessed me with a used MacBook when mine got stolen in college). I’m also a Christian hip hop artist, so music isn’t just a career for me—it’s a calling. Whether I’m producing for others or writing for myself, I’m always chasing that feeling: helping people feel something real.

  11. Q: How would you describe your style?

  12. A: Bottom line -- I like to have a good time! If we're not having fun making things (whether remotely or in person), what are we doing? I'm known for cracking a good joke, helping people feel encouraged, and doing everything I can to foster a collaborative and relaxed environment before any notes are played, sung, or recorded. If the vibe is right, the end result is almost guaranteed to be golden.

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: You : ) Because I know you've got a special and unique story and vision that the world deserves to hear.

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: Make what feels true to you. Who cares what's popular on Top 40 today? Create what resonates in your soul, and the charts will worry about themselves.

  17. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  18. A: Pop, Cinematic Hip Hop, R&B.

  19. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  20. A: Empathy.

  21. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  22. A: Taste, fun, and professionalism.

  23. Q: What's your typical work process?

  24. A: My process is very collaborative from start to finish. Here's how we get down: (1) Discovery: We’ll start with a conversation (written or verbal) so I can learn more about your vision and ideas. (2) Production: Next, I’ll build a custom track around any initial demos or references, staying true to your end goals. (3) Delivery: Once approved, I'll send mix-ready stems or a polished mix/master depending on your package. [Additional Services] 🎯 Premium: Full Song Production Need more than just a custom track? 25. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  26. A: I've got a pretty simple home studio setup with monitors, mics, and midi keyboard -- just enough to get the job done remotely. But my team and I also have access to premium recording studios across the U.S.

  27. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  28. A: SO many! Miley Cyrus, Timbaland, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Future, Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell...the list goes on and on.

  29. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  30. A: I'm usually either called on to make emotional Pop/R&B tracks or epic cinematic Hip Hop records for TV, Film, and Advertising.
