  16. A: I started in 2002 working as a songwriter singer with a band of candombe/rock style. We published 2 studio albums (2006 - 2011). Then I worked in music production in Sonus e-studio where I used to be recording engenier. I moved to Buenos Aires and worked as performer with a local band called Los Gardelitos playing ac guitars and backnig vocals. In those years (2012) I published my first solo album BRÚJALA, recorded live in studio in ac guitar and vocal. Four years later I was in Brazil playing guitar, keyboards and singing, learnig more stuff about the black culture. In 2017 I come back to buenos aires and since then I´ve been working in my songs: Consecuencia (EP) was released on 2019, DÉJAME & SENTIR (both singles) were realease this year 2020.

  18. A: Guillermo Porro. He´s an argentinian producer who´s bringing data to rock and pop scene in an incredible & authentic south american way. Part of my musical goal is to blend the rock/folk music I love with the music I grew up with.

  20. A: Rock Latino.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: Sure! Once upon a time I dreamed with a shirt that says "don´t worry, we fix it in the mix". Well my friends that´s not true! If you have a musical idea, or a sound in your head then you must go for it from skratch. Try to play that sound, try to record that sound, try to mix and mastering that sound, and you´ll hear that sound.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Folk, Rock, Indie, Candombe.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: To put music on things, and play the original feeling of it.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: I pretend to bring THE EMOTION to the song. Because throught emotion we can feel the "real me", we can see each other as we really are. Is the thing I love the most.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: Work start with the story. I read the lyrics to understand the story and the emotion that the song wants to share with audience. Then I look for some musical reference so we can perfectly match with the client about what we hear from the song. After that composing process beggings. We keep in touch day by day, with every move I make over the song so we can go straight to the best form for the song. I always record the song for a better listening, I sing it over and over for better performance because the song must sound awsome even in a small production like piano, ac guitars and lead vocal.

  31. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  32. A: Ableton live 10 (SoundToys, Digital Slate and Waves plugins) / Focusrite Scarlett / Blue & Shure mics / KRK monitors and Audiotechnical headphones / Korg keyboards / Takamine & PRS guitars /

  33. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  34. A: I love rock! From Van Halen, Rush, to Toto or Peter Gabriel. Also love folk music, James Taylor, Joni Mitchel or even the boss Springsteen. But my music comes from the black an indian culture of south america, CANDOMBE (Uruguay), FOLKORE (Argentina).

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: I usually compose original melody for the lyrics the client already have. I also help out with lyrics to complete an idea. Then I can record if the client needs to: I sing and add some instrument like piano or acoustic guitars beeing basic with the production. But we can also do a full production including drums, bass, pads, backing vocals, and then mixing and mastering process. All the song needs to be awsome.
