I was referred to Daniel by talented Brevard county musician Joshua Keels. Daniel not only helped bring my creative vision to life but also helped me improve the quality of my songs! Daniel provided drum work and bass guitar as well as the typical production. I highly highly recommend Daniel and will be doing future projects with him!

I recently recorded with Daniel for an acoustic project! The whole process was incredible. I was new to recording and he walked me through the whole process which helped out a lot. The end product sounded fantastic and just the way I imagined it to be! Highly recommend his work!

Interview with Daniel Jüde

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I recently mixed and mastered a 5 song EP in 2 days for a hip hop client which is unreleased (while writing this) and I’m proud because it just sounds so damn good and the client told me the tracks gave him chills. That’s always a great compliment haha!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am currently recording/mixing/mastering a 9 song album for a hip hop artist and recording/mixing/mastering a single for an acoustic alternative artist!

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Both! It’s impossible to avoid digital because its so effective and sounds fantastic! And analog because sometimes nothing beats the sound of a great piece of analog gear on a certain track or instrument.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I promise that the vision you have for your music is how it will be brought into reality with my services.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: I really enjoy hearing all of the unique music that comes through the door and putting it all together for the artists.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: Can you mix my tracks? Yes I absolutely can haha!

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That mastering is just making the track loud!

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: There’s so many that I ask but most of the time I find myself asking them to tell me about their song and how it came to be.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: There’s so much noise out there, you just have to trust your instincts and go with who you feel is right!

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Assuming I already have survival gear and no electricity on the island, I’d have to bring my Taylor Acoustic, Ludwig Drumset, grand piano, a conga, and a recorder haha. That’s enough to start a band right?

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I’ve been producing, mixing, & mastering for over 3 years now.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I like to listen a lot. To the music and what the artists have to say. I like to feel everything they’re feeling so their music comes out the way they envisioned it.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: I would love to work with a group like Greta Van Fleet and produce some absolute massive rock tracks.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Don’t get hung up on one thing for too long and use your ears!

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Rock n Roll & Hip Hop

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Mixing & Producing

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I have the ability to hear tracks and tell exactly how they need to work with each other to make a cohesive, well balanced, killer song.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Firstly making sure I have an absolute clear picture in my mind of what the artist is looking for then executing it in my mixing studio.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I have a one room mixing studio that is sonically measured and acoustically treated specific for a beautiful mixing environment. This is where i track vocals, drums, guitar, anything and also where i mix and master all of my work.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I’m inspired by people like Warren Huart (Produce Like a Pro) and Engineers out their still pushing to create great music.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I most commonly mix & master for clients remotely
