Interview with Jonathan Moos

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually I am producing, mixing, engineering or writing. But I am also a singer and musician so i work in that way too.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The first full production album I worked on called "soak". This was the first real project that was put out through a major label that i've worked on.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: both are beautiful!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creating something out of nothing. Taking my own or someone elses idea and making it a reality.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Ideas will always be more important than gear.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop, Rock, instrumental and acoustic
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run a studio out of my home in downtown colorado springs. I have a decent collection of microphones and instruments. I run Protools with waves plugins and a few other brands. Im fully setup to track drums as well. I have a beautiful 1970's Rogers drum kit and zildjian cymbals.

A: Many. Butch Walker, Ryan Tedder, Chris Lord Alge, Jason Ingram, U2, Taylor Swift, Pink Floyd, Hans Zimmer, Nick Murray, The 1975, The Killers and so many more...
