James 'Slim' Campbell is a Mix Engineer and FOH Engineer from Sheffield, UK. James operates and works from an analog based mix room in the Peak District and tours worldwide with artists from a range of genres.

James started his career at Steelworks Studios, working for Producer/Songwriter Eliot Kennedy. He quickly progressed through the usual stages of Intern-Assistant-Engineer, and within 1 year James was the Head Engineer and Studio Manager. James left Steelworks in 2014 and subsequently opened his own mix room/overdub studio, Atlas Studios.

Most recently, James has been working with artists such as The Script, Public Service Broadcasting, Robert Glasper and Anoushka Shankar. The latter has recently been nominated for a Grammy Award in Best World Music.
