I've been making records for over a decade, both as a musician and as an engineer/producer. When I'm not mixing other people's music or playing in bands, I write and produce music for TV, ads and video games.
A lot of mix engineers will try to put their own stamp on your music and turn it into to what THEY want it to sound like. I believe that your music should sound the way YOU want it to sound! Typical turnaround is 2-3 days per song once I start on a project, and I usually start a project about a week after it has been booked (this depends on how full my schedule is at the time).
