Terminus Horns are a multi-genre horn section based out of Atlanta. Available for professional and top quality arranging and recording sessions. Comprised of some of Atlanta’s hardest working horn players; Justin Powell on Trumpet, Richard Sherrington on Trombone and Umcolisi Terrell on Sax.
The section have collaborated with internationally renowned producers and artists. They are committed to enhancing the sound of local up-and-coming artists and established bands. In addition to performing live, Terminus Horns have arranged horn parts in a variety of styles for live performance and studio sessions.
As a professional touring and recording section we have years of experience performing and most importantly, playing together. We arrange and record for a full horn section - consisting of saxes, trumpet, flugel, flute and trombone. Stacks, layers and harmonies + solos/soli sections ava).
We use pro mics and hardware and files can be delivered at your preferred sample rate.

Had an an original AOR funky type pop song. I thought it needed an organic sound like a solo trombone around the melodies and a solo or two. And what I got back was amazing. Spoilt for choice now with a number of tracks/options sent back. The playing was just fantastic and brought a real warm but punchy sound to the song. And the quality of the actual recording is first class. Highly recommended.

I'm really happy with the work Terminus did on my track. They nailed the horn parts. As requested, trumpet and trombone also each played an improvised solo in one section and both did a great job. At the end of the piece, the trumpet player event nailed a high F# I would certainly use them again.
