I've been a musician for most of my life, I've written my own music for many years, and I have a Bachelor's in Audio Production from the Art Institute.
Creatively, the main instruments I play and write for are guitar and keys, ranging from acoustic and piano to metal and synths. As an engineer, my experience is mostly in recording and post-production, including bands of different genres and audio for video.

Interview with Eric Dean
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A fully self-produced instrumental rock album.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like a mix of both. In post-production, digital tools allow better manipulation and a more fine-tuned end result, but I prefer the sound that comes from analog gear during the recording process.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I approach every project with patience and a trained ear so the end result shines, even down to the smallest details.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Just about anything with guitars, particularly heavy rock/metal.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to create interest, whether it's in the composition or the mix, by doing things like adding or taking away layers and effects.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My focus has been on audio post-production, like editing and mixing songs.
