Hello world, I'm a Hip-Hop Performing and Recording Artist Karniege (Carnage), who is also a Beat Maker, Mixer and Producer.

Along with being featured on various projects, for over 10 years I've independently released my own music from Singles, Mixtapes and Albums. Due to years of recording with different producers and working out of various studios, it allowed me to tap more into my skills as a producer. My early stages of production was more focused on using beat making machines like the Mpc2000 and 2000XL.

I Turned over to software when I discovered "MTV's Music Generator" for the PC. This program allowed me to develop a basic understanding of Beat Making on a computer. As time went on, working with DAW programs allowed me to further expand on my ideas. These days most of my production is software based, mainly programs like FLStudio, Reasons, Adobe Edition and Cubase. Currently I'm working on my first instrumental project which is more of an appetizer to get people familiar with my Style and sound.

What I bring to a song, all depends on whats needed of me at the time. If it's creating the music for the song, or adding a hook a verse or just basic input, that works as well. My Main goal is always making sure that the song is being taking to another level than where it originally started from.

Interview with Karniege

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The Project I'm most proud of is my First Ep Entitled "Workz Of Art". Being able to create good quality music isn't a easy task! I wore many hats working on this Ep, between Writing, Recording and Mixing this project "Workz Of Art" gave me a Real look at what it takes to be a producer.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Joey BadAss, The kid is Talented, he has great energy, and he makes good music.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to clients is always Quality over Quantity no exceptions!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: HipHop is usually the type of music I create. However at some point I would like to venture into other genres of music.
