35 years experience in writing, recording, producing and playing bass for others. Also fronting bands/projects as singer and entertainer. Full time professional 18 years. Specialist in acoustic music, especially folk, Irish and British folk, but also prog rock and indie rock.

I can undertake a range of jobs:

Bass player for sessions (music man stingray/ Fender Jazz/ precision Fretless)

Songwriter - I love language so lyrics are important to me. Catchy melodies come easy. Need a song? I’ll sort it

Whole production/recording. I have a studio. Send me Tracks or tell me what you want and I’ll make it happen.

Acoustic guitar and/or singing on your tracks (husky tenor in the Rod Stewart or Kelly Jones direction)

I keep going until we’re both happy with the result...

Also available to front bands or projects - good with cameras, audiences and microphones. Have played over 8000 concerts, so not easily phased!
