Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio set is is a hybrid setup. I have a iMac with my preferred DAW with 24 channels of analog summing, an API 2500 bus compressor, Burl Audio DAC, Warm Audio Tube Eqs, SPL BIG, HRH Tape Emulation, Slate VSX Headphones, Universal Audio Apollos, Orion Antelope Converters, Fab Filter Plugins, Plugin Alliance Mega Bundle, Slate All Access Bundle, SSL Plugin Bundle, The God Particle and many other plugins

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I worked on a song called Hey Sexy Wow by Lord Kossity and Chico for Universal Records France. It was a big hit in France and there was a particular week when it was the 5th most played song on radio in the world. I produced and mixed the record. Very proud of that record.. :)

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both....Analog for the depth and warmth...Digital for the editing, recall ability and multiple plugin counts per session (I can have 10 Pultecs in a session. I would have to pay dearly to have that analog gear in my studio)

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: It makes me feel alive....Its my passion

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am currently producing and mixing some tracks for an artist that I manage

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: I am currently new to SoundBetter but I hope that very soon I will have many colleagues from SoundBetter to recommend.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will not stop until you are satisfied!

A: How did you get the mix to sound exactly how we wanted it? My answer is: I listen!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That everything can be fixed in the mix! No mixer can turn a shabby recoding into a great mix......

A: What do you love about doing music? Why do you do music? How can I help you?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Give as much detail as you possibly can so I can best understand how to approach the project to accomplish your needs.

A: Laptop, Universal Audio Apollo Twin, Slate VSX Headphones, Burl Audio DAC, Microphone

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Started out as a recording engineer at Shaggy's studio in Kingston, Jamaica then I started mixing and mastering songs for many Jamaican producers and record labels. I have been doing this since 2003, so thats a very long time :)

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is hard hitting drums and round thumping bass with polished vocals.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would like to work with any artist that is passionate about their craft and serious enough to be investing in themselves.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Don't over think music, the vibe will tell what needs to be done.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I work on a lot of Reggae and Dancehall music but I can bring any genre to life.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is listening!

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I think I bring a fresh perspective with technical and creative attributes that will help paint the picture the client has envisioned.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My typical work process involves listening to the clients material along with their reference material and then just having fun with the music.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: My most common work is mixing.
