Session Bass Player

Jamie Windham on SoundBetter

I've worked with some of the best producers in the U.S., and I've also played in signed bands as well as some of the largest churches in the nation. I have a passion for session work and creating new music. I'd love to hear about what you you're working on.

James (Jamie) Windham has played bass guitar for over 15 years, with many successes and accomplishments along the way. In 2006, he formed the post-hardcore band Sent By Ravens with his friends Andy O'Neal and Zach Riner. The group was signed to Tooth and Nail Records in 2008 and went on to record two albums – 2010's Graceful Words and 2012's Mean What You Say – before disbanding.

After years of working on the road, Jamie began playing bass at Newspring Church –megachurch located in South Carolina – in 2010 where he played every Sunday for five years. In 2015, he relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina and joined Elevation Worship – a contemporary worship music band from Elevation Church. For nearly a decade, James has played in front of large crowds weekly, honing his craft as a musician and performer.

Jamie has worked on many live and studio recordings and has collaborated with award-winning record producers like David Bendeth, Aaron Sprinkle, and Deane Ogden, and artists such as Jordan Gray, Sent By Ravens, Brave Future and Manuel Bair. You can listen to his work on Spotify.
