Chris Cook on SoundBetter

Chris began his musical career at a very young age and has never looked back. Having attended Brunel University's School of Arts, Chris graduated in 2012 with a BA Honours in Music. During this time he furthered his skills in composing, arranging, recording and mixing and has gained many years of experience using Logic Pro and Sibelius.

Chris has recently completed a course in Music Production at the Abbey Road Institute, London. This course covered not only the practical side of producing music (including recording and mixing among other topics), but also the theoretical side of sound and audio. He has an excellent working knowledge of Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Logic X, Sibelius and Ableton.

As a saxophonist, he has had the opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and Swanage Jazz Festival, as well as at the Venice and Lake Garda music festivals.

Recent projects include: Royal Artillery Band Brass Quintet; Oompah Brass; The Laefer Quartet; Liam Compson (singer songwriter); Richard Poll (singer songwriter); Mutant Vinyl; Simon Woodley & Chichester University.

Based in Dorset (along the south coast) and working as a freelance audio engineer, Chris is currently available for various projects within the UK.
