Matteo Radoslovich (Annava) on SoundBetter

I am a quick producer. I can write, produce, mix, arrange, and master professional sounding music fast and efficiently. I am unique with my song structure, and it is not out of the ordinary for me to mix genres in a song. I can produce loud dance tracks and laid-back chill tracks. My mixes are always clean, clear, and compressed.

What I WILL do:

- Trap beat making (I will make a hard-hitting trap instrumental for your raps songs)

- General beat making (I will produce a beat for you if you are a vocalist, instrumentalist, or rapper)

- Remixing (I can remix any song that is presented to me, regardless of the genre)

- Mixing (I will mix your song in the fashion that you want me to, whether it be clean, compressed, lo-fi, quiet, etc.)

- Vocal processing (I will process vocals to whatever extent you want, rap, singing, spoken word, etc.)

- Background beat making (I will make background music for you)

- Personalized DJ mixes (Compile and mix a selection of songs for radio, parties, or anything you want)

What I WILL NOT do:

- Stings

- Intro tracks for YouTube videos

- Ghost producing

- Work with uncleared samples

Matteo is super available and worked hard to make sure I had the mix I dreamed of. I look forward to working with him more in the future!

Interview with Matteo Radoslovich (Annava)

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I am most proud of my song Yellow and Pink, which I made entirely by myself. The music video was shot by a friend of mine, but it was edited, directed, and produced by me.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on several collaboration projects.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I know and would recommend Nicole Catherine.

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: Communication is everything.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: Burial has influenced me the most with the way he can create a subtle ambiance that swallows up the listener.

  11. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  12. A: Digital, since it is more efficient to make music that way. I need to do considerably less recording with digital music.

  13. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  14. A: I promise to provide professional and attentive service.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The biggest misconception about me is that I am a beatmaker who does not desire to go professional. I am the opposite, in fact. While I do enjoy producing beats for clients, I put passion and hard work into making completed projects.

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: My Macbook Pro laptop, FL Studio 12, Pioneer DDJ SZ2, Pioneer DJ Pro, and a good set of speakers (preferably QSC or Mackie).

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I have been producing music for near seven years.

  21. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  22. A: I would most like to produce a track with 100 gecs, since I believe that our styles would blend well.

  23. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  24. A: Finish your songs.

  25. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  26. A: I produce EDM and ambient.

  27. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  28. A: My strongest skill is my ability to produce quickly.

  29. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  30. A: I bring pizzaz and unorthodox song structure.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: I make up my music as I go. Most songs of mine start with one simple idea, which I build an arrangement out of. I will mix and master a song as I go along. The only concrete part of my song building is that I usually produce drums first and sound effects like impacts, white noise, and risers last.

  33. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  34. A: I produce all of my music on my Mac Laptop with FL Studio and Audio-Technica M50x headphones. I am able to create professional-sounding songs without studio equipment. My DJ Setup is much more expanded. I use the Pioneer DDJ SZ2, QSC K12.2 speakers, Behringer Eurolive B1200D Pro 12", and a Yamaha MG06X mixer.
