Hi I'm Davide Pepi, a professional guitar player/composer from Italy.
I'm currently working with many important bands such as Profusion, il Rovescio della Medaglia and Walk in Darkness with which I'll be releasing new records in the next months.
During my career I've recorded 7 albums and EPs of original music: "Orange Room" (Aftershave 2011), "Distanze" (La Coscienza di Bacco 2015), "The Clef of Memories" (Profusion and Georgian Philarmonic Orchestra 2018), "Asteroids" (Solo Album 2019), "Forty Days" (Solo EP 2020), "On the road to Babylon" (Walk in Darkness 2020), "La Bibbia 50th Anniversary (Il Rovescio della medaglia 2021) covering a lot of different styles.
I play both electric (7 strings too) and acoustic guitar to be as versatile as possibile.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Snarky puppy, Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, Becca Stevens, David Crosby ...for their ability to deliver elaborated yet meaningful and catchy music! Pop music can be clever and full of amazing shades.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: again...Serve the song! don't get over complicated and think about music as a language the has to be at the same level of the audience you are targeting!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic pop, folk music, rock, funk and metal too.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Serve the song first! I've had many experiences in studio with artists that sometimes doen't have a clear idea of how to translate their ideas into consistent and real music... togheter we can reach awesome results!
