Kevin Moya

Mixing / Session Guitarist

Kevin Moya on SoundBetter

Hi. My name is Kevin Moya and I'm a mixing engineer from Venezuela. I've worked really hard since the beggining because I had next to nothing to work with (1GB RAM PC). Right now, as I'm delivering crispy and clean mixes, my goal is to become a full-time Engineer. I'm very passionate with music and I'm ready to make records

My background starts with guitar—I picked it up at 13 and later taught myself bass. Over the years, I’ve played in bands spanning genres from indie to metal. While my core strength lies in rock and its many shades, I approach every style with curiosity and respect. Whether the project sits inside or outside my comfort zone, I commit to understanding its essence and delivering results that speak its language.

I’ve been writing music and exploring different genres through local bands, with a deep appreciation for diverse styles. I never dismiss a genre just because it’s not my personal favorite—music is built on intention and structure, and as an engineer, I strive to understand how it works regardless of style.

That said, my foundation is rock in its full spectrum. From soft, lullaby-like melodies to crushing walls of metal, I’m most fluent in arrangements centered around drums, guitars, bass, and keys.

I offer editing, mixing, and my own mastered version of each track—ideal for clients without a dedicated mastering engineer. I also clean up audio, arrange guitars and bass, program drums, and provide session work. With four EPs and multiple singles mixed to date, I’m working at my best and actively seeking new artists to collaborate with, bringing precision, flexibility, and a strong focus on making the creative process unforgettable.
