As a house engineer of Jackpot! Recording Studio, I have loads of experience working on all kinds of music. I am also a frequent writer of gear reviews for Tape Op magazine, so I have had the opportunity to find exactly the hardware and/or plugins that help me get the sounds you hear for your record.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music. After college, I went down to Nashville, TN where I spent 5 years working on records for labels such as ATO, Warner Music, and Universal. For the past 5 years I have been in Portland, OR working at Jackpot! Recording Studio as the studio manager and house engineer. I primarily work out of my personal mix studio, Berrytown, where I have a hybrid setup consisting of Pro Tools and a Shadow Hills Equinox summing mixer.
