Bassist Kevin Grewen started playing at age 10 being taught by his older brother. Coming from a particularly artistic family, Kevin was immersed in visual as well as auditory forms of art from a very young age and its shows. His natural gravitation towards improvisation is crucial to the overall sound of The Uneasy. Grewen offers glimpses of but not limited to jazz, classical and any other progressive genres. His idol being Jaco Pastorius is telling of his unwillingness to settle for mediocrity in his craft and is constantly pushing him to think outside of the box, creating other worldly basslines that transform the straight ahead rock riffs into something exceptionally different. Kevin has played with bands such as Steve Reilly and the Rain Band, The Shady Street Show band and has opened for many well established groups including Kool and the Gang.
