Hi, my name is Ruud van Halder and I'm a session guitarist with over 10+ years experience in touring, recording and composing. I love creating tasteful, in the pocket, and great sounding guitar parts, both electric and acoustic. I approach everything with an open mind and try to take your song to a higher level.

After I graduated from the conservatory in Rotterdam in 2015, I started touring around the world with my band MARUTYRI, an instrumental jazz/funk/rock formation. We recorded several EP's and 2 albums.

As a session guitarist I've played with many Dutch artists, played in musicals and did a lot of tributes, like Sting and The Police, The Eagles and Peter Gabriel. To name a few.
At the moment I play with one of the most popular artists in The Netherlands: Suzan & Freek.

As you can read I have a lot of experience in different genres. That experience now works in my favor to be able to adapt quickly. I'm a soulful guitar player who excels in groove, feel and sound. A few of my favorite guitar players are John Mayer, Michael Landau, James Taylor, Al McKay, Nile Rogers and Larry Carlton.

I have a lot of gear to choose from, so I'll always be able to find the best sound for you production.
