Hi i'm Gabriel but you can call me Gab. I'm a sound engineer, musician and absolute weirdo from Santiago de Chile. Creator of the "reverse delay and reverse again with more delay" FX chain for vocals. Saturation enthusiast. Hyperfocused sound editor.
Mixing and Mastering engineer, founding member of chilean math rock band "tortuganónima" in which I make weird sounds with a guitar. Worked for 5 years at a recording studio in Santiago de Chile and now I go solo from my own home studio. I'm not afraid to pour some of my creativity on the production aspects of every project I'm involved, from editing arrangements, tuning, fooling around with effects or samples and even adding or contributing with some instrumentation, mainly guitar, synth or bass.
I've worked on a variety of music genres, but my main focus is on Alternative Rock and noisy stuff in general, the more unhinged the better ;)
I'm available for working on any project that requires some weaponized neurodivergent spice on it.
Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I was very inspired by Omar Rodriguez Lopez because it was impressive the amount of material he was able to produce almost by himself.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Alternative rock, but i have also worked on hip hop and electronc projects.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm very skilled at editing out unwanted noises on the fly.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Weirdness, and uniqueness if it's possible. I'm very eager to experiment if the client gives me the opportunity.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I keep it simple when i work at home: just my pc loaded with plugins, a Focusrite interface and my Sennheiser HD380 headphones. When working in the studio my weapon of choice is the Allen & Heath Zed R-16 and some KRK monitors.

https://open.spotify.com/intl-...Female vocal driven and eclectic alternative metal vibes all the way. The vocal pre production made by FractalEspiral was so on point for this whole project that it left me with a lot of room to experiment with multiple effects (granular delays, reversed samples, phone booth eq, pitch shifting madness, etc).
