Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Any artist that's striving to be well-rounded and adaptable to a variety of genres has my respect. Some examples: The Roots, Erykah Badu, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monae, Miley Cyrus, etc. (the list goes on and on like EB baby)
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: For most projects, I'm creating the narrative for the music. Sometimes the basis for the song is already there, other times the artist only knows what they want the song to be about and I write the song accordingly. After discussion and shared voice memos, I record all vocal layers and provide a lyric transcript for the happy client!
