Double Bass and Electric Bass

I am a performer and session musician who worked as a double bassist and bass guitarist London's West End, and top studios, including Abbey Road. I am offering recording services from my home. I am equipped to record everything from bowed double bass, to Jazz upright and electric bass. Slap and fingerstyle funk, fretless bass, and good old meat and potatoes Blues, Rock and Country bass parts on my old P-Bass strung with flatwounds. I generally use Logic as my DAW.

I have played on a wide range of musicals in London’s West End, including; Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Avenue Q, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Secret Garden, Kiss Me Kate, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Urinetown, Damsels in Distress, Sinatra, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and The Last Tango.

I have also performed with symphony and chamber orchestras in the UK, Spain and Canada, as well as with numerous big bands, small Jazz groups and Cabaret acts such as Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway during their 2015 visit to London, UK. I was also fortunate to perform regularly with legendary TV personality Des O’Connor and Noel McCalla (Manfred Mann).

Additionally, I have played on multiple orchestral, Jazz and Pop recording sessions for film, television and commercials in the UK, Canada and the USA. Contracts included work for BBC Films, Miramax, BBC Television and Radio, Nike and Stella Artois.
