If you hire me, you get someone with an honest but never discouraging view on your (often very personal) material.
These days, budgets are shorter than ever. I believe in finding the best use for your budget, meaning : Let's not focus on paying for the unimportant stuff. Rather concentrate on what connects with human beings. That is always the emotional impact the material has. A Great mix can really emphasize that impact. Easy example : If people can't concentrate on the singers voice, because there is a drumsolo going on in the chorus - my job would be to tell you : The Drumsolo in the chorus is incredible! reminds me of John Bonham. Now let's put this in another song and let it breathe :D .I see music as communication. A form of communication we can't fully understand - but we can feel it. I studied musicology and psychology. Some people believe that knowing a lot about music and how it works cripples your emotional antennas...Countless acts I have worked with over the last 15 years have proven that this is bullshit. Being a music expert, doesnt mean I don't feel music anymore.I still close my eyes when I listen to music.I still believe in the power of music. Maybe I am oldfashioned. But music has given me so much emotional peace and freedom in my life, I won't give up. I owe to the music.
Please have a listen to my work.If you're passionate-we speak the same language.

But if we both work on a ballad for your girl, she will cry when she hears it :) If you play that ballad to a stranger in the streets, he probably give you a strange look. We will do the right thing for your song.
