My name is Prince”Madhiwali”Dzuwa , a 26 year old Drummer . I started playing drums at the age of 12 in church . I started working with different local artists such as King Shaddy, Tembalami, Sebastian Magacha , Pastor G , Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave , Josh Meck , Plaxedes Wenyika , Minister Michael Mahendere, Takesure Zamar , Mukhululi Bhebhe , Victor Kunonga , Clare Nyakujara , Hope Masike , and the late Legend Dr Oliver Mtukudzi Internationally, i have work with Sipho Makabane (South Africa),Zaza Mokheti (South Africa),Silas Miami (Kenya), Stewart Sukuma (Mozambique) Currently im working with Ammara Brown And Zimpraise Choir , I also travelled to South Africa , Zambia , Malawi ,United Kingdom , Netherlands , Mozambique and UAE Dubai

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Try to keep it real with triggering and sampling to a minimum
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do live drums track and percussion remotely as well as in person sessions with producers and artists, and also do a lot of composing and drum programming
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you deliver the job? I’ll do my best to make you happy
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Probably the idea that a studio musician for hire is more interested in quantity of work than quality. I am very invested in composing ,directing and creating the best music we can create together
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Zimpraise and Ammara Brown I was the drummer
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My dream was to play drums and my dream came true and I have 13 years of playing drums
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I get a lot of Afrobeat requests but I also play Funk , Latin, Reggae and Gospel
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Consistency I think...
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: creative ideas, and my main focus is to articulate what`s best for your song

A: 2 Bass players Naphtali Chivandikwa , Igeal Njolomi and Saxophonist Joseph Chinouriri these are 3 people I do work with. They are both on SoundBetter and they’re both phenomenal musicians. we collaborate remotely all the time and can help bring an extra layer of cohesion to the online recording process when we get to work on a project together
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a Tama drumkit ,Zildjian cymbals thats the one I use in my studio and I also use a Roland SPDS Octapad ,SM81, D6 , D112 Shure and I use Protools

A: What`s the name of the song and also what`s the bpm of the song
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Kick, Hi-hat, Snare, Laptop and Roland SPD SX
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is very unique and I`m in my own league of creating my traditional fusion grooves
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My first step is to get on the same page with the writer. My goal is always to serve the song and I like to get a good feel for what the writer`s vision and also feel free come up with your ideas , I believe in unit together we can make it happen
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both because has its strength
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anybody with talent ,creativity ,direction and vision
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I always do my best because if Iam not happy with a job , how the client could be?
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love my drums and music
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Im working on my EP Traditional Drum Fusion its all about drums mainly and others musical instruments
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advise is please dont hesitate to ask for your ideas and on your song you send you want me to do im very open and work with your ideas aswell

A: Michael Jackson ,Fela Kuti ,Hugh Masekela ,Oliver Tuku Mtukudzi,Richard Bona,Stevie Wonder and Salif Keita
