Hey There! I'm Socorra, a singer-songwriter based in Austin, TX. I'm a lover of all things guitar from Pop to Americana and everything in between. I'm looking to help you make the best records possible. Let's Jam!
I'm originally from the Bay Area and have spent the last 10 years working on my solo project as well as collaborating with several local Bay Area bands. I've opened up for Blues Traveler and Fantastic Negrito, have toured up and down the West Coast as well as the country of Morocco. When I'm not playing music I work as a music educator and have also worked as an event producer and show manager.
My main musical influences are Classic Rock, 1970's folk, Motown/Stax and Pop.
For my song example you'll hear my original, Muddy Water, a Led Zeppelin influenced tune.
