Music is meant to be an experience. Tracks end up sounding stale or miss their opportunities to move the listener because the right approach was not taken. The goal for me, always, is to communicate mood and emotion in a way that creates the desired atmosphere. I do this by utilizing dynamics, tone and moving performance.

My 20 years of classical piano training has included extensive performance, the highest levels of music theory, and deep looks into what make classic pieces so memorable and emotional. Through this study, I attempt to translate that knowledge into modern pieces of music that hold just as much if not more relevant weight. The last 10 years I have worked extensively, creating orchestration and string parts that accompany the emotion of the piano. With this has come expert knowledge of recording, mixing, and knowledge of how to attain the most authentic sounds out there. In my opinion, most piano and string sounds become overdone and sound completely fake to the standard ear, unless a lot of care is given.

I have released music with Capitol Records, Netflix, Kobalt Music, and others under the artist Black Match. Music from this project has garnered millions of streams and has been in over featured in over 50 publications (EarMilk, LadyGunn, etc.) Apart from Black Match, I have worked with tons of TV and Film directors to create their desired mood.
