Kiboko is a Kenyan music artist, record producer, singer, songwriter, radio host and voice actor.
He is a pioneer for Afro-pop and produces hypnotic beats and trance lyrics. Kiboko a.k.a. Ricky Obura found his voice both by singing in high-school and by studying rhumba, which was once the most popular genre in Kenya. Though Kiboko's musical talent was evident from an early age, historic stereotypes and lack of mentorship led him to go into agriculture as an alternative. While at Kenyatta University he focused on both engineering and football but regular injuries would lead to him eventually stop playing football. After college, Kiboko regained his pursuit of music and began making music.
