Edson Silva, 37 anos, paulista ,baterista, musico profissional , atua na noite paulistana de São Paulo, acompanha cantores, musica instrumental, pop, jazz, musica brasileira, samba, bossa nova.

Começou a estudar musica aos 12 anos, e aos 16 anos optou pela bateria como seu principal instrumento.
Em 1998 começou a fazer aula de violão Clássico na escola VIOLAO & CIA. em Santo André até 2000. Em 2003 começou a estudar guitarra com professor particular. Em 2004 começou a estudar na Fundação das Artes São Caetano do Sul teve aula teórica e prática (bateria). Desde 2004 a2008 fez aula particular de bateria com o professor André Renato Freitas, e em 2008 estudou também com Zé Eduardo Nazário e ultimamente com Jonatas Sansão. Também lecionou aulas como professor de bateria na Escola Usina Brasil Em São Bernardo do Campo e músico instrumentista. Trabalha como musico free-lance acompanhando cantores(as) , bandas, músicos da cena instrumental de São Paulo E Também participou do Bourbon Jazz Festival em Paraty(RJ) 2016 e 2018 : , Festival Chorando Sem Parar 2017; Festival VI Jazz em Viçosa e Juiz de Fora MG; Festival de Inverno São Caetano do Sul 2019; Festival de Verão São Caetano do Sul 2020; Trio som na Calçada Fundação das artes, Invisible Lines 5teto Jazz , Graça Braga, Caco Barros, Conjunto Candeeiro, Verve jazz Trio, entre outros

Edson is an excellent drummer whose kit sounds great! I asked him to play along with a complicated track in 11/4 time signature, and Edson handled the task perfectly. Edson worked until we'd gotten the perfect drum tone I was looking for. His playing is fantastic and his recording technique for capturing multiple channels at once is highly professional. I've worked with drummers all over and Edson is right up there with any of them. Definitely would work with him again!
