I'm TN, a music producer, composer, and songwriter who loves blending genres. With credits alongside the dynamic duo SHFT (Mickey Shiloh & Tommy Will) and collaborations with HRDRV artists, I specialize in crafting custom instrumentals that cater to and elevate your sound and vision.
I have 14 years of experience in music production to help you build tracks that last. Whether you have a rough idea or need a full instrumental from scratch, I’ve got you covered.
This isn’t just a transaction to me, it’s a creative partnership. We’ll shape your vision together and turn it into a high-quality sonic experience.
Before SoundBetter, I spent years immersed in music, singing in choirs, playing cello, and later achieving my degree from Full Sail University after serving in the military. Music is in everything I do.
If you made it this far, let’s talk.

Interview with TN
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What is considered a minor revision? Minor revisions include mix tweaks, level adjustments, or minor arrangement edits. Major structural or creative changes may require a new revision fee or custom order.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: My studio is all digital, so currently I would say digital over analog.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will give you quality customer service. This ending product is mine as much as it is yours. We are in this together at the end of the day.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your P.R.O.? Are you using a reference track?
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was able to remix SHFT's single. It was my first ever placement on an album. I will always be grateful for the opportunity I was awarded by Mickey Shiloh, Tommy Will, and HRDRV.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working on my EP - 89nels. I call it my testimony in audio form.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like that I can use my gift to help people express themselves as they would like to. Whether it's with music behind lyrics or a motion picture.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I take your money and throw a beat your way. These beats will be custom-made to your liking.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I'm here for you - use me - if you want some raw feedback, help with finding the "right" words to say - ask. let's build together.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'll take a flint/steel, a survival tool (axe/shovel set), rope, cooking pot (to boil water), and a gun (just in case I have to do it myself).
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: After graduating from Full Sail University, I've been pursuing music full-time on-and-off for the last ten years. I've been grateful for all my wins and losses.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is largely inspired by my cello-playing background. Cinematic/Orchestral elements always bleed into my creations, whether it's Hip-Hop, Pop, or R&B.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pharrell, Jon Bellion, Tobe Nwigwe, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Hans Zimmer, Ludwig Goransson, and Tina Guo
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I'll say sound selection is 65% of the battle. Mixing can only fix so much - if it sounds right, let it be.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop with orchestral/cinematic elements.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication is my strongest skill by far. I want to create the best product for us both to share.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creative Direction is the best answer to explain it. I'm here to help bring your vision to life sonically.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Michael Jackson, Pharrell, Jon Bellion, Tobe Nwigwe, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Prince, Hans Zimmer, Jesper Kyd, Brian Tyler, Ludwig Goransson, and Tina Guo
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I create the composition behind their lyrics, or I create the composition and help refine their lyrics.
