Jason L on SoundBetter

Want to take your songwriting to the next level? I can help you do that! I can write anything your heart desires, but I do have a knack for concentrated story telling and catchy choruses. Please checkout my demos, they speak for themselves.

Hi, I'm Jason. I've been writing for over 20 years. I spent the majority of adolescent life searching for something I was good at, but I didn't attempt my first song until I was 21. I knew right then and there that was my calling.

The perfect version of your song is obtainable, that's where I come in.

Have partial song? I'll help you finish it and we can make a hit together!

Have a lackluster full song? Lets make it a hit!

You're looking for a full song? Obviously I'm going to hook you up with a banger!

Partial songs I retain 50% royalties

Depending on how much new material is added I would get directly proportional amount of royalties

Hope to hear from you.

Interview with Jason L

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I've been writing for over 20 years and play rhythm guitar. I was trying to put band together so we could play live, but unfortunately, it's a little disheartening how many people are afraid of success. It took me 3 years to find a lead guitarist, and then for the next 11 years musicians ran away from us. After giving up on musicians, I found a producer in 2 years. Now, we have a 3 piece band, but can't play live. Advertising is too expensive. Collaborations will good for the band, so I'm looking forward to it.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: Paul McCartney or anyone from Blink-182, you know why

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: I'm open to anything

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Mimicking other artists!

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: Creativity!

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: I would ask the artist what their vision is for the track.

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: My biggest influence is The Beatles. I first tried mimicking their style about 3 years after I started songwriting, but with minimal success. It wasn't until attempted to re-wright one of my old songs, and it worked! Then, I proceeded to re-write my entire catalog. It wasn't until I did that, I was able to program my brain. Now, I can write anything, that includes a beatle's song. Don't worry, I don't just write love songs either.

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: I am new here, so I hope I can answer this question more thoroughly in the near future.
