I am a Mixing and Mastering Engineer with over a decade of experience in the music industry. My journey started in 2012, and since then I’ve worked across multiple genres, with a strong focus on Hip-Hop, Rap, and Trap.

Over the years, the songs I’ve mixed and mastered have reached more than 3 million streams on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms. I’ve collaborated with both independent artists and industry professionals, constantly bringing a polished, competitive sound to every project.

In addition to my personal work, I also collaborate with a team of skilled, formally trained engineers and producers, ensuring every project benefits from a wide range of expertise.

I run my own professional recording & mixing studio in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where I deliver high-quality mixes tailored for streaming platforms, clubs, and radio.

Interview with Trilla / WGS Family Studio

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I’m especially proud of is "Iartă-ne Doamne" by Dodut (one of the biggest rappers from Cluj-Napoca, with over 1M followers on TikTok) and Sara. The track reached over 1,000,000 views on YouTube, which was a huge milestone for me as an engineer. Beyond the numbers, the recording process itself was memorable — Dodut came in with Sara, who was only 12 years old at the time. She was nervous, but with patience and guidance I helped her deliver a confident performance that became the heart of the song. My role was recording, mixing, and mastering the track, making sure it sounded powerful and polished for both YouTube and streaming platforms. Seeing it connect with so many people made me proud of the work we did in the studio.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog. There will always be a distinct sound flavor with analog equipment.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I guarantee to the musicians I work with that we will create a song of industry-standard quality and that it will sound the way they want.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always communicate; I'm a talkative person and I'm looking forward to your comments. Anyone who believes they need someone to properly comprehend their music should contact me, in my opinion.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Before mixing, a song's rough version should already sound good.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As an artist, I’ve drawn inspiration from legends like A$AP Rocky, Eminem, Joey Bada$$, Future, Lil Baby, and many more. I’ve always been a hip-hop head, but my influences go beyond that. Growing up, my brother was in a rock band, so I was surrounded by guitars and raw energy, while he also introduced me to hip-hop. On the other side, my dad played Latin music around the house — I might not know all the artists, but I was drawn to the elegance and emotion in those sounds. All of this shaped my ear and my style: I live and breathe hip-hop, but I work comfortably across all genres, always looking for the unique vibe that makes a song special.
