Hello there,

it's been 11 years now that I'm studying drums and I've already ad 1 year of experience working as session musician on fiverr.com ( check out reviews on my profile https://www.fiverr.com/lorenzo_granget?up_rollout=true ). My goal is to create music worldwide and if you think I can help you just contact me! I can cover various genres, I've got different snares for different sounds and this is my recording gear:
Snare Top&Bottom [Sm57+Rode M5], Kick In&Out [Beta 52A+Samson QKick], Tom1,2,3[Akg Perception Live P4], HiHat[Rode M5], 2 Overheads [Samson C02] and 1 room mic[Rode NT1]
I work on StudioOne and I can also deliver mixed stems processed with FabFilter plugins if requested.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Just recorded a full album for a commercial canadian producer as a drummer, gave me plenty of freedom with ideas. 4 days of fire in the studio but very happy with result!

  4. A: Some music projects on other sites!

  6. A: I'm new here!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Analog is expensive, digital is the "new" way to do it, if you can afford it go definitevely for analog.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Seriousness, that's where everything must start.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Communicate and appreciate messages and reviews from people thousands of kilometers far from me!

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: If I can make it in one day. Music requires time, recording music much more, you can't pretend to have good recording in one day.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People who does not valuate your effort and seriousness in what you deliver.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Explain me everything that can help me to reach your ideas and feeling for the project

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: kick snare saddle hihat and a beer :-)

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: As said in description it's been a year now I'm already working on another freelancer site with full 5 stars reviews and more then 60 jobs completed in time!

  24. A: Almost complete in every genre, I can reach and feel your song easily

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Every sort of, I just want seriousness on both sides and well recorded music to work on!

  28. A: Do always your best to prove your seriousness

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Rock/Metal/Pop/Commercial

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: I can quickly join the feel of your song

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: My feel or the feel that the customer wants.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I listen up to the music 2 or 3 times, write down some stops or some breaks, If customer sends a drum chart I follow that or I just play on as I feel the song and then I'll discuss with customer on my ideas.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I record my drum kit with Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 + Focusrite Scarlett PreAmp at 44.1 KhZ - 24bit with StudioOne and FabFilter Plugins. My mic setup it's written in the description. I always look for upgrades btw.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Every session drummer out there is a source of inspiration for what he became and how he kills the song out while recording.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: You send me a track to record on, if you have ideas you tell me or you send me a digital drum line example and I record it, before delivery I usually send a demo to discuss with customer about my ideas and interpretation.
