Cappel Mastering on SoundBetter

20 years experience mixing & mastering music specializing in Indie, Folk, Rock, and Punk. Over 400 television credits including NBC's "The Voice", "Virgin River" on Netflix, and "Pawn Stars".

I'm Tommy and I've been a recording studio owner since graduating from Ohio State University in 2005. My studio, Cappel Recording, has serviced countless clients over the years providing recording, mixing, & mastering services.

What makes Cappel Recording different?

1) We will master your music using a reference track that you provide. A reference track is a song by an artist of your choice which best reflects the sonic qualities you are looking for. If you do not want to provide a reference track, that is ok too. We will do our thing.

2) We will provide you with two final masters for your song. One intended for online/streaming and another for CD (if desired). When music is mastered too loudly for streaming services the overall volume will be reduced by the streaming service and the volume of your track will actually be quieter than other tracks. To avoid this, we will provide you with an appropriate master for Spotify, Apple Music, and the rest.

3) Our masters are tried and true having been picked by music supervisors of major network and cable tv shows to be included in their productions.
