Clean and affordable! Hi, my name is Chris! I'm a musician and self-tought mixing engineer from Hamburg, Germany. My goal is to make you happy with great mixes! I'm mixing "In the Box", which means easy recall ability, which also results in faster turn around time for revisions.

Now I'll give you a look into my work philosophy:
I'm focusing primarily on the overall sound of your music while mixing. Once a brilliant sound is achived, I change my focus more on the technical aspects of the process - where are the highest peaks? Can I reduce them technically, but still remain the punch, loudness and dynamics(sonically)? - This gets really importent in the mastering stage! A well balanced mix sonically and peak-wise at the same time does result in a much louder master, which makes you stand out when competing with other artist on the several streaming platforms.

When mastering, the goal is to enhance the song, but not to change it drastically. Maintain the dynamics and punch while polishing the overall sound and getting it loud!

FLOATY did exactly what I wanted and expected him to do and even more than that, he was able to see the vision, where I was trying to go with my project and he used his creative sense, to improve my Project even more.
Even though, I've had a few Revisions, FLOATY never backed-up on doing some extra work and throughout the whole time, he gave me the feeling, that he gave his all on my project.

Yo FLOATY is a real professional mixer in my opinion because he delivered a pure quality product. I´ve just send him my raw vocal lines and he performed super clear vocals which have brigthness to sound "full" on a actually pretty powerful beat. He also was damn patient with me because I had a couple of check backs because I had this "vision" of the "right" sound. He made me happy and all that for a affordable price. I just can recommend his work and his work ethic.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't overthink while mixing and try to look out of the consumers perspective. Don't do something just to do something. Know when to not do something.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop/R&B
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The typical work process consits of me asking you how you want the mix to sound like. You can also send me a reference song. Afterwards I'll import your stems into my session and listen to the rough song. After I got the vibe I'll start gain staging and mix the song according to your taste.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is enough to create a great mix for you! For now I mix "In the box".
