I’m a well-versed drummer & percussionist with over 12 years of experience. I grew up in the marching arts world, so the metronome and I are very good friends. Send me a message and let’s make some amazing music together.
As of right now I can only offer cajon (box drum) services for drum remote recording. This can be a great option to lay down a foundation for what a drum set can play over, be the primary percussion in a track, or support what the drum set is already playing.
I can also mix audio. If you are a church looking to upgrade the sound of your Sunday service, contact me and I can mix your band’s audio or your pastor’s audio for a podcast!
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Colton Connor is one of the most reliable musicians I have ever played with! Always prepared and eager for every opportunity to play/lead. Though he is incredibly gifted and oozing with talent and knowledge of music, he is one of the most humble guys I know. I highly recommend Colton!

Colton is a professional drummer to the T. He knows the in and outs of music theory, drumming, and music technology. He has exceptional experience with and without click/IEM’s on a weekly basis.
Colton is a gifted and versatile drummer and percussionist. I am the worship leader at the church where Colton drums and I can always be confident in the songs because I know that he is always going to be prepared and enthusiastic about them. If I have a project in the future, I won't hesitate to use him because I know he'll put his heart and soul into it. Not to mention he's just a great dude.
Colton is an amazing musician and drummer! We have played in our church worship band together for the last several years. Not only is he phenomenally talented with all things percussion, he is also an all around great guy. I highly recommend Colton!
Interview with Colton Conner
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Right now I have a career in marketing. I like marketing and business, but my passion and calling is to lift the Lord up through music. I am pursuing this in hopes of it turning into something I can do full time!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Playing exciting rhythms to a click.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to a song a few times and understand the vision. I then create a drum part that enhances that song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Jay Arrington at Greenbriar Studio and David Whitworth.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly play drum set & Cajon (box drum) at my home church and for other groups that need me. The style I typically play is modern worship music like Bethel, Hillsong, Shane & Shane, and We The Kingdom.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to do my best to provide what you need for your project. I will also maintain healthy communication during the entire process.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When choosing instruments for your song, pick ones that won’t clash with each other in the frequency spectrum. This will result in a cleaner, more cohesive mix.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I primarily work on worship music. Artists/groups like We The Kingdom, Bethel, Shane & Shane, and CAIN. I also have a background in Jazz, Rock, and Country.
