Bethia on SoundBetter

I'm Bethia, R&B/Pop Artist, Vocalist, Topliner and Songwriter from the UK. My influences include Ariana Grande, Zara Larsson and Tori Kelly to name a few. Here to help you craft/sing/write your next hit! Despite specialising in writing upbeat and catchy pop lyrics, I am also able to write for other genres such as dance, R&B and House.

As well as having my own artist project, I have been honing in on my craft as a songwriter for other artists to help them develop their sound and create the best track possible for them. These artists include Ocean Tisdall (Sony Music), Hannah Trager, STRUAN etc.

From 2016-2018, I pursued my love of singing and performing at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where I graduated with a first class honors degree in Creative Artistry. Here, I developed skills being my own artist (Bethia), gigged own music in London, Guildford and Reading with her 6 piece backing band and collaborated / writing with other artists and producers such as Mort who has been a long time collaborator of mine.

Since then, I have been lucky enough to performed at The Pride of Reading Awards, Readipop Festival, Henley Festival, Tileyard Studio and BBC Introducing Live. I have also written a song for the children’s novel “River Baker and the Warriors of Rala” by Mali Baker. I have also had my own slot on Danyl Johnson’s radio show for BBC Radio Berkshire called “Bethia’s Beats” where I chat about the songs of my favourite up and coming artists and bands of the moment.

I am excited to broaden my skills as a Topliner and Songwriter as well as collaborate with new talent! Would love to hear from you, click the contact button to be in touch.
