Eloy Lasanta on SoundBetter

I'm an all-around musician, singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist focusing on rock, funk, and pop music. Always looking to collaborate with other talented artists and make some amazing songs. Offering my skills to others starting now!

Music has always been a part of my life, but no more than right now! About a year ago I started a musical project called Strays of the World and released the first album in May 2021. The collaboration process is crucially important to music nowadays, so a focus on trading ideas and serving each song individually. The services I'm offering will vary from song to song. Give me a melody, and I can create a beat around it. Give me a riff and I can accompany it with a bass. Give me lyrics, and we can work on cadence, pacing, and delivery.

Hit "Contact Eloy Lasanta" and let's get rocking!

There are many reasons to work with Eloy. Proficient ability to complete all tasks involved in the entire process of creating a record. Maintaining broadcast quality. Strong knowledge of current market demands and infrastructure. Strong grasp of brand and sound development. If you want someone you can count on for the entire process from concept to post release strategy, you won't find anyone more kind or fun to work with.

Interview with Eloy Lasanta

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: "In My Head" the debut album from Strays of the World is an album written, performed, arranged, and produced by me! It's a huge undertaking, but I'm very proud of what I accomplished there, can't wait to do it again, and I'll help you get there too!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am finishing up recording the second Strays of the World album, while simultaneously working on demos on a third album. Always fun to be had in my studio.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Multi-faceted... I don't like to put myself in a box.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: I know how to spin a tale with a song. It's not just a collection of sounds and words; getting down to the root of what you're trying to say in your song is something I'm excellent at achieving.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: My music has a certain flair to it that can complement any other artist as well. It's usually rocking and funky, but I love working outside of my norms as well. Always be experimenting!

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: I personally love working with a beat first, followed by a bass line, then guitar. Once that's done and there's some paint already on the canvas, that's when it's time to really figure out what the song is. Creativity always comes first.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: While simple, my studio is surprisingly robust! My Apollo Twin Quad audio interface can handle just about anything I can throw at it, and my SM7B makes vocals a piece of cake. All of that feeds right into my Logic Pro X setup, with all the latest plugins and virtual amps to create just the sound we want.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: I am heavily inspired by Prince, The Cure, Beck, Tori Amos, Smashing Pumpkins, and so many other talented artists who are always putting out amazing music.
