I can take your tracks and turn it into astonishing sounding records.

Hi, my name is Vivaldi, an American audio engineer specializes in music recording and mixing. I hold a degree in audio engineering technology with extensive training in audio mixing. My focus is mixing/mastering music to give it that polish sound you would normally hear on the radio or online streams.

I use both analog hardware and digital plug-ins to achieve the best possible sound for your song. I work using ProTools along with plenty of outboard gear. I enjoy working with all genres including Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B. I also work with voice over clean ups for videos ads.

My job is simply taking your idea and adding that final professional touch and shine.

Looking forward to working with you on your next project.

Interview with Vivaldi T.

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both, with the fast moving of todays music having best of both is a major plus. Whilst plugins are great, having an analog mastering chain is amazing.

  3. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  4. A: How long will it take? Typically for one song I will have it ready between 2-3 days

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: My advice would be to make sure that mixing is the service you're looking for. A lot of time clients have the impression that a mixing engineer will arrange or even produce their song which is not the case, have it ready before moving to the mixing stage.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: My Apple Computer My Neve Portico II My Apollo x16 My Burl B2 Bomber My API 512v

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: I started as a beat maker in my early teen years and quickly realize music is what I love. I took that love into the classroom where I studied Audio Recording Art and graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering. From there I worked in the live sound industry as a live sound engineer for concert events. Also during that time, I would spend my spare time in the studio perfecting my mixing skills. I have now been mixing professionally for over 10 years.

  11. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  12. A: I think H.E.R is an artist I'd love to work with. I enjoy working with talented artists who understand what they're looking for in a song and can share their input to collaboratively reach the song's full potential.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: I would say my strongest skills is mixing main vocals. My mixing vocal style is upfront and consistent.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: I bring clarity, space and depth to a song.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: My typical work process is to understand my clients vision for their song, usually that's through a reference track. I would spend a few days on the mix and then send off to the client for review before applying addition master processing.

  21. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  22. A: My studio is a hybrid setup with integrated analog gear. The center of my studio is the well known C24 controller with the latest Pro Tools version. A Universal Audio apollo x16 is being used for all my analog routing and a Burl B2 for my A/D conversion all clocked using a Grimm CC2 as master. Also in my setup is a Neve MBPII, an 1176 compressor, Avalon 737sp and API 512v for Mic Pres. For my monitoring I'm using Yamaha HS8, Auratone 5C and TC Electronic for metering.

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: The most common work that I do for my clients is mixing.
