I love music and have helped mix and master many upcoming indie artists in various genres, from gospel, pop, rock, and folk. I understand many of you do not have the resources or budgets, so I am willing to help you for free. It is not about the money but what I love doing for those upcoming artists.
My studio features a combination of professional audio gear, Apogee, Cranesong converters, ATC, and Focal monitoring systems. An acoustically treated room allows me to fully concentrate on the actual music material and perform best at editing, mixing, and mastering.
While working primarily inside the box, I often use analog gear on the final mix bus to add punch and harmonic saturation.
Digital audio allows for precise editing and processing that tightens the sound. I can bring up the perceived loudness while preserving the natural dynamics using professional tools from TC Electronics, Algorithmix, Universal Audio, and many more Plug-ins running through accurate audio metering.
As an SAE Recording Arts Honours graduate, I firmly believe it is essential to know what effect specific processing has on the music material, as many problems become apparent and audible only later.

He was a real gentleman in his work and I could feel his desire to push for a great sound. We hope to have him do more mixes in the future!
For a dramatic project, my project manager cobbled VO talent from fiverr with inconsistent audio settings (he didn’t set standards). Aniston literally raised the audio dead and made the audio worthy of a global video project. The other producers were amazed at the finished work. Will definitely work with Aniston again!
I have been working Aniston for close to 18 year, over the year he has mastered many songs of mine in the contemporary Gospel music area. He takes the time and effort to fine tune every detail. He is quick to respond to any questions and makes his comments on the depth of and sound of every track that is involved with the song. Thank you for the support, looking forward to work with you again

Dear Mr. Aniston. I feel really proud to say that I'm one of those privileged people as a musician, that you have done a really brilliant job with our track Mahiya. Kudos to you for the amazing Mastering and Mixing. The track turned out much more than I had expected even though I have worked with many others. But, the work you've done, turned out to be the best of them all. Thank you so much.
Look forward to keep the association going

Interview with Har mo niks
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the song, I sometimes re-amp guitars through a Fender Twin Reverb. A typical mix process starts with the drums and bass, rhythm, and finally, the vocals. I am very picky regarding vocals, so it sometimes takes a while to fit this into the mix. After several revisions of the mix and when the artist is satisfied, I apply some master bus processing inside the box. For the punch and glue, I use analog gear to enhance the final master further.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Accurate monitors and a proper-sounding room are of the utmost importance to my workflow. So, I rely on the ATC monitors to help me translate my mixes. I primarily work inside the box with good-quality plugins and some analog gear, such as the Pultec EQP-1A, Black Box HG2, and the Manley Variable Mu compressor that run through Crane Song convertors.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Digital audio can fix everything and make poorly recorded tracks sound great.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please ensure the vocals are sung with a feel and in the correct pitch. Standout, be creative, explore new ideas, and constantly push the bar higher.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Please record your tracks well. Digital audio is not magic, and we can only help fix issues until the track starts to break.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop-rock, Gospel, Folk, Hip-Hop, RnB, Metal, Dance.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication with my clients is the key to taking their creative work to the next level.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to bring warmth and vibe to the track and move people so they keep returning for more.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was able to keep my client completely satisfied with the mixes. The client decided to master the songs at a major record label company, but the final product sounded terrible and destroyed the original mix completely. Therefore, I offered my client that I could master the songs for free, and I was delighted with the outcome of the final master.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just completed an album for a Japanese Indie artist, who was very satisfied with the output.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: P. Necobayashi is a great guitarist and has a good sense of music.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Digital makes life easy and precise, but analog processing is essential to taking things to the next level or adding that extra 5 or 10 percent to the creative process. Nothing in the digital world can ultimately help enhance the track; analog processing is like the icing on the cake and is very much necessary.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Unlimited revisions until they are 100% completely satisfied. It is not about the money but what I enjoy the most in mixing and mastering songs for my clients.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to help an upcoming artist who does not have the resources or budgets to enhance their creative work and take it to the next level and make them worthwhile to the world in any listening environment.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I share with them my previous mixed demos and my favorite bands. I also share with them a plethora of my mix profile. Being passionate about and greatly appreciative of music, I can almost fall in love with all genres.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Demos of the song. Communicate as much information as possible on their vision of the song.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Pultec hardware EQP-1A, Manley Variable Mu hardware Limter Compressor, AKG C12, ProTools, Audeze LCD-X.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a live sound engineer, then a recording engineer. I have been mixing albums and singles for close to 8 years.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Al Schmitt, Spike Stent, Peter Gabriel, Daft Punk,
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Pop-rock, Gospel, Folk, Hip-Hop, RnB, Metal.
