  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I shall deliver your song on time, which will sound absolutely outstanding - clean, loud, punchy and wide. At the finish of the mixing stage the song file will be ready for upload to major music streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I get to work with a lot of talented people, and who are passionate about what they do. Even when working online I get to do the job that I love.

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: How long will it take to mix this song? Depending on the edits that I have to make, if I have to tune the vocals and the track count, but usually it takes me 1-2.5 days to get decent mix, an extra half day to add final touches. Are revisions possible? Absolutely, and are very welcome, because as long the song sounds fantastic - the band is happy and therefore I am happy.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  8. A: I am also a mastering engineer. It is possible that I will be doing the mastering on the song as well, however, there's a reason why these professionals exist, so I will gladly put your music in the hands of a reliable mastering engineer.

  9. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  10. A: What kind of artists/styles do you prefer to listen to? Is there a similar song that you were going for with this project? What is the main focal point in the specified project?

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Have a mp3 version of the song you want to be mixed.

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: Only two - a laptop with a DAW and headphones. That's all, because I think It's all about your skill not the gear.

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: An electric and acoustic guitar player since 2002. (Citrons, Glass Prison) Been producing music since 2008. Professionally mixing music from 2019.

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: MY: Work style - Precise, fast and clean. MY: Mixing style - a major influence from the 80's Pop music; 2000's Alternative Rock; MY: Major influence from the bands such as Coldplay, Kanye West, Green Day.

  20. A: You! - It's your time to shine in the spotlight. :)

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: Serve the song, and true emotion is the key to great music.

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: Attention to detail, while being aware of the bigger picture.

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: A nice and clear, loud, wide and punchy mix that will stand out from the rest of similar songs, while still be in the style and genre. After mixing and revisions the song will be ready for streaming or if necessary the mastering engineer.

  31. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  32. A: I have many engineers that have influenced me in along these years, for example, one of the mixing pioneers is Michael Brauer who is the developer of the so called "Brauerize" technique. As well as Serban Ghenea, I'm 100% sure you have heard his music one way or another. I'm inspired by any new musical artist or band that can influence or evolve music in general.

  33. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  34. A: A handful of private client's work, mixing songs for Tourna-Mix and occasionally training by mixing songs for Cambridge-MT.

  35. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  36. A: 100% in-the-box for unlimited recall reasons, also nowadays software has reached 99% quality of the analog hardware. BUT In the future I'm planning to go hybrid, because there are some hardware devices that cannot be emulated digitally.

  37. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  38. A: Pop-Rock and Indie. Lately I am also learning to mix Hip-Hop/Trap.

  39. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  40. A: Audio mixing services for artists and bands that produce music in the style of POP, Rock, Country and even Heavy Metal.
