My name is Truls Klepp Grytnes and I am a producer based in Oslo, Norway. I started producing music in 2017 and since then I have been working every day to reach my goals! I am currentley producing Deep House and Progressive House tracks, but is always looking for new ways to stand out and be unique in the industry!

I am offering everything from mixing and mastering to full song production! I do also play guitar, so if you are looking for any guitar recordings for your songs I am happy to help!

I am mainly producing EDM, but has some experience in other genres aswell!

  1. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  2. A: Do not really know! I just love to do what I do!

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I love to create something that evokes emotions in someone! Music is for me something really important and I love that I can create, mix and master a whole song just on my computer!

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: Customers often ask me about how much experience I have! I have been in the industry for many years and have produced for 5 years. I have got amazing feedback from big artists and big record labels.

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: I always ask them about their vision and thoughts! I want to create something they are happy with!

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: I really want you to ask lots of questions and tell me your vision of how you want the result to be! The more I know, the better the result will be.

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: I always try to bing some kind of emotion to a song! The vibe for me is really important and the listener should feel something from the first second of the song.

  13. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  14. A: I am really proud of my newest single "Feel Your Heart" together with Lena Sue! This is my first release on Spotify and I am so happy of how it turned out! I also found out what direction I wanted to go with my music with this song! I am also really proud of working with the talented singer/songwriter Lena Sue on it! She made the song go from good to perfect!

  15. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  16. A: I am currentley working on lots of new tracks! I try to experiement with different genres and sounds to make them sound unique.

  17. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  18. A: If you are looking for vocals for your next track you should definitley check out Lena Sue! I have already worked with her and she is crazy talented! Chech her out!!

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: Analog! I love the warm sound they give! I feel like using analog gear just make your tracks come to life!

  21. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  22. A: I always promise my clients that they will get what they pay for! I am not taking any shortcuts and is always keeping my promises!

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: Hmm, hard choice! But I guess it would be my pc, a pair of headphones, a keyboard, a guitar and a boat to get home maybe.

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: I have been musical in my whole life. When I was 9 years old, I got my first guitar. I was obsessed with it and one year later I joined a band. We played at lots concerts in our hometown. When I was 14 years old, I found out that I wanted to do something more. I decided to start producing my own music and since then I have been working up to 5 hours every day to reach my goals! I have learned from the very best people in the game and want to take my career another step further. Therefore I am now offering both mixing and mastering, full song production and guitar recordings!

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: My style has changed a lot the past years! Earlier I used to produce Progressive House, but later I got into a more moodier and deeper style. I always try to experiment with different sounds and instrument to create something unique.

  29. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  30. A: I would love to work with Martin Garrix one day, as he is the one who got me into music production! I also love the style from Drove, Pontifexx and Toby Romeo! Would love to work with some of them one day aswell.

  31. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  32. A: Always have fun! Do not enter a session thinking that today I have to make something good. Be creative and make your own path!

  33. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  34. A: I usually work on deeper/moodier, but have also lots of experience in making tracks with more energy in it.

  35. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  36. A: My strongest skill is producing emotional tracks with lots of ambience!

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I usually have a good conversation with my client before I start working. I write down all his/her thoughts/wishes and start working. We both have a good conversation during the work process too, to ensure that the client get what she pays for!

  40. A: I work in FL Studio on a custom buildt PC. Here are some of my gear: Focal Alpha 65, Beyerdynamic DT990, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Gibson Epiphone, Novation LaunchKey49

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Martin Garrix, Julian Jordan, Dubvision, Osrin, Drove, AREA21, Yuma & Pontifexx are people who inspire me!

  44. A: I usually do mixing and mastering, but I am open for doing full song productions aswell!
