David Wise on SoundBetter

David Wise is an independent record producer, mixing engineer, and songwriter. While born in Virginia, he'd call many other places home before growing up in Baltimore, MD. From being homeless to battling Type 1 Diabetes and struggling to stay afloat, his life has been anything BUT easy.

"Music came at a rough time in my life where I felt like I had no one. It kept me company and unleashed a gift I didn't know I had. It's not about the money to me; it's about doing what you love, feeling good, and making other people feel good."

David's strong faith, loyal support group, and desire to persevere are what have kept him grounded.

FKA "White Keys Only Beats" (as well as many other names), David began making beats in 2015. After just a few years, he'd make industry connections, go on to produce for artists around the world, and fulfill his true passion for creating.

In 2018, David began working with popular Vine & YouTuber "Willgotthejuice" developing his sound and becoming Will's go-to engineer and producer. Their viral hit "Georgia Peach" hit 2 million streams within a year. This was a small milestone for David and proved that with God, consistency, and hunger, anything's possible. Since then, he's been remotely mixing and producing for up-and-coming artists around the globe and finding ways to contribute to the world through music and art.
