I'm a POWERFUL, VERSATILE, soul-based vocalist with a heavy passion for Rock. With over a decade of experience, I have worked with artists like Taylor McFerrin, Muzz Skillings, and Clara Lofaro to name a few. I put my heart and soul into every note that I sing. My vocals have been featured on HBO's Insecure, OWN's Queen Sugar.
Just to give you a little bit about me. I’ve been a professional singer for over 20 years. I've been feat. on two Taylor McFerrin's songs. One of which was extremely successful in Japan, and the other was feat. both on HBO's Insecure, OWN's Queen Sugar. I’ve performed at Carnegie Hall. In 2012 I was nominated for an Audelco Award for the off Broadway musical “Dream Babies”. I was the lead singer of Funk Fusion band The Joint. In 2001 we were the house band for the Apollo Theaters poetry slam. I was one of the lead singers of the Rock, Soul,& Blues band Nineveh Road. We performed in the 2007 Emergenza Battle of the Bands. I won best vocalist. Most recently I was the lead singer of the Rock, Soul,& Blues band Jacknife Sympathy. I had the honor of scoring the independent horror film “Death is No Escape” with Melvin Van Peebles. He told me that he had a melody in his head, that he commenced to play and record it for me on kazoo. He made sure that I added his kazoo to the score, and I built around it.

I have been working with Vince for 10 years now and literally NO ONE COMPARES to him. When he begins to sing, eeeeveryone listens. He is one of those vocalists you hear and just know he was born to do this. He has been the lead male singer for my band singing for private high end events in New York City for all this time and we are often booked because people just fall in love with him. He’s also done backgrounds on my original music, and I’ve hired him for lead vocal recording work as well. He is fast, totally in tune and more soulful than anything you’ve heard. Beyond that, he is genuine.
I first saw Vince live in December with the Clara Lofaro band and he was fantastic doing top 40s and classic R&B. He completely stood out when he sang Reasons by Earth Wind and Fire. Breath taking. I hired him to sing backgrounds for me at joes pub for my soul fusion band and he was such an asset as a singer—his ear is impeccable. His delivery, dynamic!!!

So I'm really enjoying SoundBetter so far. Just the functionality of it all. I'm a couple clients in, and they have been great. Plus I get to work from home. This is awesome! LOL! It's funny though, I haven't had an American client yet. I guess I'm meant to be heard across the pond. All good with me. Never been to Europe! Can't wait to go. Keepem coming SoundBetter. So I'm new to SoundBetter. I'm sorry to say I hadn't even heard of it before a friend of mine told me. I am really excited about the process and what this site has to offer. I already finished my 1st project with a client. It was awesome. I'm so looking forward to diving into more. It's a brave new world!
