Charting Top 40 artist Riley has worked with the likes of Emiah, Sean C Kennedy and BeCharlotte. As well as pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter and recording artist for her own music, Riley is eager to also be a writer for other upcoming artists as well as top-lining and becoming a session vocalist.
Glasgow’s own “Wild Rose” Riley has been working on her own songs since she was only eleven years old. Ever since, she has built up a following due to her polished Nashville-pop sound and intricate storytelling lyrics. She made her recording debut with the widespread release of her first single Go-Getter on the 12th of February 2021. On the same day, the track reached the Top 40 on the iTunes chart and no.2 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart. The single was tipped for more success after attracting radio play from BBC Introducing, BBC Rapal and BBC’s Another Country show with Ricky Ross. The song was also chosen to be ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland’s The Afternoon Show. In addition, Riley was the Glasgow Times (formerly known as The Evening Times) Time Out ‘Artist of the Week’ in the week leading up to the release.
She has supported artists like; Jordan MacKampa, Tamzene, Keir Gibson, Donnie Munro, Sean Kennedy, Ben Haenow and many more. Riley has also gained recognition from Pop Star Lennon Stella’s mother, Marylynne, through Instagram and was asked to audition for American Idol. She had her first tour supporting Tide Lines across Scotland on their 11date sell-out tour. Since lockdown, Riley has been doing many co-writing sessions across Zoom, working with producers and writers from countries like Germany, Amsterdam and, even as far Australia.
