Professional guitarist and producer, specialized in R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Hip Hop. I record electric, acoustic, ambient, slide guitars and basses according to your needs, focusing on every detail to achieve the best arrangement and interpretation with pristine audio quality.
I'm Agustin Argibay, a professional guitar player from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have been playing the guitar for more than a decade, I graduated as a classical guitarist at the conservatory, and then I started studying jazz, music production and electronic arts.
After playing with different projects in the local scene, I dedicate myself to recording, composing, producing and teaching in my studio located in Buenos Aires.
I usually record in Pro Tools and Ableton Live. The number of tracks will depend entirely on the genre, style, and whether it's a melodic line, solo, or accompaniment.
For recording time, I'm going to try different ideas based on the artist's reference and then send in the desired format all the stems individually, with the possibility to choose between the raw takes or processed by me, usually with some EQ and compression.
For electric guitars, I send the recording taken from an amplifier, but I will also include a direct line track for reamping or apply digital emulations such as Guitar Rig, Amplitube, Neural DSP, etc. to get more control over recording. I love vintage and modern guitar sounds, and i have a lot of gear for every purpose, which you can see below.
I'm so excited to hear your music and take it to the next level. Contact me and I will answer you as soon as possible to start working together!
