Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: We are currently working on an unannounced Facebook Watch series which is in the process of moving from another streaming platform. As the series changed networks, access to all of their existing music was left behind. Since we started working on this project a year ago, we have produced a full custom production library for the series, as well as licensing these cues to other projects. While ambitious, I think we did a pretty great job in the end :)
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: We're working on custom cues for an unannounced Facebook Watch series at the moment, as well as ramping up our artist relationships and making more custom beats than ever!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Nate Dodge and Tim Gunter are incredible composers that make really good instrumentals for artists and film. Check them out if you like!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think that our strongest skill is that we're willing to throw out the beat we're working on, and start fresh whenever, if need be. We don't get married to our music. Often, producers will try to "fix" an already lackluster beat to whatever end needed, leading to a finished product that's cluttered, poorly mixed, and more importantly, not what the client was looking for.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We love doing anything music related, but you'll most often find us either producing tracks for artists or creating custom scores for film and television!
